Warped belt housing fix

I have recently overheated my belt housing now it wont seal up right and water just flows right through. Im wondering if anyone has done the swap over to an XMR housing with more bolts? Im about to head that direction if theres not too many snags involved looks like it can be done for about $130 plus a few extra bolts since theres more here than the stocker has. It is beefed up more in the exact same areas mine has deformed in. I took the whole cover off lined it up and found the problem areas and just refuse to rtv it all together because I dont wanna replace the gasket every time I make a clutch adjustment or swap belts.
