1st Blown Belt! Whats best replacement?

Just blew my 1st belt- 72 mph after 6 mile run home from town on tar. I have Adam clutch and STM Sec. hoping that I wouldnt have this problem. Anyway I have what dealer gave me for a spare when new last nov. I think it is an outlander belt? Is there a better belt to buy before I put that spare on? 542 miles and 42 hrs. on machine.

Nothing has been proven to be better than the OEM belt, or even come close to it. Gates has a new one out, but not a lot of reviews yet.

Nobody should...but at least he isn't saying "I wonder why my belt is blown".

You're asking for engine trouble and are assured belt trouble driving any SxS like that.

If you like to run it at RED LINE then you need to know the engine specs. You'll want those doing your rebuild so its put back together right! The belt will be the least expensive part!
