Im about to pull trigger on cvtech primary and stm secondary... seems that is the best combo out of all... After reading many posts seems that AIRDAM setup is the best... I have called twice randomly and talked to someone everytime even about stock non AIRDAM stuff.. seems like good service to me

Which Adam? I talking with \\\ Adam About setting up QSC Adams clutch. Mine use to shoot up to 8k but I diddnt like that and wanna shoot lower so the over rev will remain well below the rev limiter. The over rev last about 2 seconds and then drops about 200 or 300 rpm before shifting out. Feels like theres a 2 stage spring in the primary. I havent taken it apart to adjust again its still at the 7300 shift out.

Does the CV clutch experience any of this slight over rev?

Just installed Airdams primary and machined secondary, and the BRP race box a month ago or so and still getting smoked by that dang XP!!! He is about 1 to 2 bike lenghts ahead of me at 300'... It helped no dought, but not like I thought it would in regards to the time differences between the commander and the xp on Adams videos... The times show the commander to be at lest a second faster at 300'... I'm going to try a different spring in the primary that Adam is sending me, but I still think that XP will kill me... Maybe my buddy got lucky on his XP and his engine tolerences are better than any others out there??? Any of you guys raced an XP latley??? I'm also thinking about going with Wellen's air intake, but their new design comes out next week... Any suggestions on more mods that actually work??? The only other mod I have heard of is changing the cams in the commander to the new 1000 renegade since the renegade makes higher hp, but I'm sure you lose torque... You take it from one place and lose it another is how it works unless you go big bore (which I'm waiting on as well LOL) Thanks

My guess is you are getting beat off the line cause of your fly by the wire delay. A higher stall rate and reving your motor to 1800 then taking off will cause you to get the jump(it worked like a champ for me). If you want to absolutely beat him you need to let the motor breath. Weller air intake and a open exhaust like the muzzy will be needed. Then you need to all fuel using the PC5. Properly tune you will have more power to the ground and will accelerate faster and have a higher top speed than the XP.

Makes more HP than the Commanders Rotax? I've never heard of this mod. I just checked their website and both the Outlander 1000 and the Renegade 1000 are rated at 82 hp. The Commander 1000 is rated at 85. So make sure your right about that before someone tells you to throw a Renegade cam in your Commander to get more HP.

Here is the link to the specs. Scroll all the way to the bottom where you will see it say 82 HP.

He is right the Renegade 1000cc cam does make more HP in the commander that you can take to the bank. You can build your commander 1 of 2 ways get out and do it yourself or find someone who knows what they are doing or try it over the Forums.
