Looking For Accessory Wiring Help

I'd like to hard wire my GPS as well as add lights, radio, etc. I'm not too skilled with electrical work and wondered how your all might be wiring for accessories. Would you recommend a separate buss bar next to the battery to run the hot wires from? With any accessory, can you take their black ground wire and instead of running it back with the red, can you ground it on the metal chassis next to the accessory?

Any photos would be appreciated. Thanks.

All depends on if you want them switched on with the Ignition. There is an accessary relay on the main fuse box that you could come off that with another relay and long stud circuit breaker to power your GPS etc. I have not studyed the wiring diagram to see if the existing relay is being used and if not were to pick up the circuit. I suspect its up under the dash. I will look when i get a chance. Or for direct connect come off the Positive Battery post with the Circuit breaker(s). You will have to determine load capacity for each one and sub circuit it with additional fuses or Circuit breakers. Grounding can be be done locally as long as its on the main frame.

Typical fusing sizes:
30 Amp - #10 Wire
20 Amp - #12 Wire
15 Amp - #14 Wire
10 Amp - #16 Wire

Make things easier and cleaner down the road. Get one of these fuse distro blocks. I had one on my Rhino and now on my RZR and they're great. Anytime you want to add an accessory you just run a lead and pop in a fuse that meets the need BLUE SEA SYSTEMS ST Blade Fuse Blocks at West Marine

This fuse block is wired directly into the battery with #12 wire. I've got a secret toggle switch to cut power to this block when I want

Give me some pointers on how to wire one of these up? What gauge wire do I run to it from the battery and do I just run pos. of the battery to pos. on the fuse block and neg. on the battery to neg. on the fuse block? I am no electrician guys!
