Gas fumes ( hot weather )

Hey Guys

Out on a 100 km run and half way into the run I started to smell gas.
In the cockpit and around the car,but no visable leaks.
Checked everything next day and there are no leaks. It was around 100 degreees. That was the hottest I have had it out in.Would it be just fumes coming from the vent because of the temperature ? 3/4 tank of gas.
Thanks

I noticed the same thing while riding at Boggs and Boulders, it was hotter than hell that day...I looked at all the mounting points when I got home due to hearing about them cracking but found nothing...I came to the same conclusion about the vent....I guess I'll see if it stops after I snorkle it....

Take the gas line loose from the tank and route it down to the water pump drain.( I have already replaced my seal from sand going back up the drain) Remove the gas filter off the end up under the hood and put it on a new line. Install the new line on the tank and run the filter end up the rear roll cage, make a 180 bend about 4" long and zip tie it off and no more gas smell in the cab.

I had very tiny crack on one of the welds at the front of tank,no dripping ,just kept smelling gas .Finally found it ,just very little moisture from gas around the mount.
