Thanks Canam

This is so that everyone can thank Canam for whatever it is they wanted to thank them for. I'm sure everyone has something nice to say

I bought a new front diff housing since i cracked my other one(info in another thread) and was putting it going to bolt the two case halves together so i could take it to my friends shop and he could help me set the backlash on the gears. Well it wouldn't bolt together........ Cause they forgot to thread the HOLES on the diff case. So not only did i have to spend $130 on a tool to remove the pinon nut, and $40 on the tool to set the backlash which by the way was the wrong thread size, i had to get out my metric tap set and thread my own holes.

Great! The bolts appear to be a self tapping style . It is possible that they drive them in or just drill a Pilot hole because the bolts do not have a starter point on the tip.

There was holes there, they just weren't threaded. That's not the bolt in the picture btw. They didn't look like the self tapping bolts to me, and I believe it's only like 30 lbs of torque on the bolts for the case halves......
