Arctic cat has really bumped their heads! It is cheaply made! I would buy a rzr over the wildcat. When your spending that type of cash, I better need an instruction Manuel to operate it. They really dropped the ball!

I saw the Wildcat at Burt's Mega Mall in the L A area, and I was impressed with the look and feel when sitting in it. I would say the dash and interior is much better than the RZR but not as good as the Commander. Over all to me it looked like it was made as good as a RZR but not that stronger look like the Commander. The suspention on the Wildcat is clearly it's big plus over the competition. The down side is it is huge, it is about two feet longer than the Commander. I walked away thinking it might be good for wide open areas but two big for trails any bigger than a jeep could go. If you spend the money on a Commander and then get long travel you would be way over the cost of just starting with a Wildcat.

The Wildcat is here to stay and I welcome it to the UTV community.

front foot wells is just plastic with NO protection from anything that you might hit going down the trail.

Hmm! the Commander foot wells are plastic too, so are the RZRs etc. There are simple fixes for that. I spent several hours going over the Wildcat at my dealer and came away impressed at their first attemp at a sport model UTV. The tublar frame in it's self is a vast design Improvement over the typical Car frame approch like the other UTVs, commander included. If I did not already have a Commander I would buy one.

I drove one at the ride event and it looks very well made. What stopped me from buying one over the XP was:
#1 Power.
#2 1st year bugs? Learned my lesson with the XT.
#3 Super low seating height. It feels more like a go cart than a SXS.

The low center of gravity is one of the best features of this machine. Its like a Buggy should be. I do not like the High center of gravity a typical UTV has. I always feel like I am ready to go over on my side at any moment lol. I guess I am used to my Woodsbuggy and Honda Pilot mini buggys.

I have watched a couple videos of it on here out in Moab. It kind of looks like a longer version of the XP. I will need to go buy the local dealer this weekend and see if they have one in to get an up close look at it.

I agree, the Wildcat is a really nice machine, suspension out of the box is better than any high dollar long travel UTV I've ever driven. We'll have to see how it takes to a bunch of abuse... Interestingly enough the Wildcats foot wells are double walled, yes still plastic, but double walled plastic with a space between the walls.
