I would rate the XP a 6.5 to 7...motor issues..poor shocks..weak arms..and horrible frame. Yes you can correct so many of these issues and as an avid offroader that is par for the course but damn that is too many issue and along with motor issues its a deal breaker for me. Don't be fool many of them are dropping valves due to weak springs and blowing their motor up. The low-end bearing not getting enough oil is another. I pass on this UTV as well.

The wildcat is hard to rate fairly right now but based on history rate it a 7. The suspension has a great design and even if it turns out to be weak arms poor shocks that is easy to correct. The motor is the same as before with dual cam now. That motor I would not bet on 40 miles out in the dunes or 80 miles out in the woods. Nor would I bet on their diff, electronics, or other parts.

The commander has its faults but overall I give it an 8. For the average guy the clutch is ok but can be a problem from some. Performance guys you got to go aftermarket. The frame is built like a Rhino but stronger. The diff had issues but BRP step up and replaced it and my whine has not come back with high quality additive like Lucas. The suspension sucks for us high flying desert or dune guys and getting a LT that performs like my Rhino DOES NOT exist in the commander market. The stock shock mounts suck and it prevents the car from having the travel that the XP, Teryx, or Rhino LT kits provide. ICKY is the only LT that is 100% right. Buckshot has extended shock towers front and rear and progressive spring or dual rate spring option that allows it to perform as well as an XP with aftermarket shocks but still can't match something like HCR XP Kit or Wildcat. All the other kits are not even worth paying 5000.00 for with those short OEM length shocks. The motor is what makes the commander. The 1000cc Rotax twin is a monster of a motor. The motor is exactly what a UTV should have low end torque, high speed power and reliable. If they built a car with the right suspension or stock shock mounts it could be a 10.

I was only rating the suspension, that's the only place the cat is a 10.
I think that was what Ody was asking..

I was at a Cat House today..They supposedly have hypoid cut gears in the differentials. The unit was not in stock for a visual of suspension, steering and other component designs.
