also hope its competitively priced not a wallet shrinking 20 grand. im so hoping this thing is the berries my brother has an xp razr and rubs it in all the time now how hes faster more agile and wow it does climb like slow technical stuff better so . im to stubborn to jump ship so hopefully can am who ive been faithful to since like 08 now will prevail and i can flip the script on his ass.........

Well, I dont know if a Pure Sport or 4 Seater X will hit the market in 2013 or not -BUTTT .

I just put ( The First ) deposit on Both of them at my dealer -Just in case

So they didnt even have a list yet , had to start one on each .

If they dont release them- its fully refundable.

My 2012 X is what i bought it to be and no regrets..lots of power, lots of cargo space, a very comfortable ride.....i needed both the Sport and Utility aspects of it and it works very well and no other S X S has that...yes, it is more than a pain in the azz to add retrofits to, but you have to give to get!!....i did not buy a pure sport machine and i knew that going in...Unfortunately you have to be able to read Frenglish to understand most of the BRP add on directions and BRP are more than a little arrogant..and i am certain that attitude will change.....it has to!!

NOW.....
Look closely at the Commander as it is and it really has some big resemblance to the Outlander...it is really a ginormous Outlander....

Now, what if the Renegade got a whole heck of a lot bigger...
Maybe you would have the Commander RS...(Renegade Sport)
Of course it would have Power steering with a stronger rack, QE Diff or better, have a bit longer wheel base with the engine back a bit for a better center of gravity, long travel and trailing arm suspension, a HO 1000 engine (with the Red Key!) and a serious Dual Exhaust, Performance Clutch...

In my discussion with local dealer about purchase I was told there is definietly a 4 seat arrangement and he wouldn't say much about the current commander. Although he did say that they were going to "dress up" the X model...and when pushed about power steering he said doubt it.

That is all I could squeeze out of him. I am guessing it will have some sportier plastics with the bottom rear bed deleted and maybe dovetailed like a rock crawler...This will make it lighter and they may advance the timing, CAM, or change out the intake to give it a few more ponies.

Personally, I need/want the utility aspect of the commander and it is the closest version of an updated rhino that I can find LOL!! I carry lots of cargo, wood, chainsaws, deer, mulch, rocks, etc and having a large dumping bed is essential. Especially great for hauling coolers and deer stands

My hat off to Can-Am for always thinking outside the box and giving us comfort, style, and power!
