He says he's teryx will beat commander 840 motor 3 stage cam and bored out to max? What will win? And what if you put an airdam clutch

teryx will win but his motor is maxed out and you are stock. Yet it won't beat you buy a whole lot.

Agreed...I have a 840 and it's damn quick BUT I am maxed out...you still have along way to go I think...same story...how fast can you afford to go?...

Why does everyone want to compare stock Commanders to non-stock competition.

A more fair comparison would be stock to stock or mod to mod....All this other stuff is just a bunch of crap

Why do you say that a 840cc motor to a 1000 cc motor is a fair question. 840 with the power turn up to the max versa a 1000 that is factory stock? This will give people a idea about how much more power is their to tap into.

stock to stock they are very comparable v twin in both and my buddies teryx has no problem keeping up with me in a race across the sand mine is stock and so is his.. the commander has a little more top end and will pull away on the big end but all in all they are both good machines and the teryx would be my choice if the commander would not of stepped up

I never said an 840 to 1000 motor was fair...You did

My point is that I can buy any piece of shit and spend enough money on it to make it fast. I bet the average Joe won't spend a dime on his SXS. They just hop in it and do whatever they do. Most people compare all the machines then spend their money on the machine that they like best.

If you want to race up Toyota Hill or whatever it's called then buy a SXS and stuff a street bike engine in it and come on here and tell everyone that your XYZ can beat theirs

The only comparison that really matters is $ to $. Ultimately it is the all mighty dollar that decides how fast anything can be. How much did you have to spend to be as fast as you are....because anyone who spent more should win........and if you spent more and still took a whoop'n...

The Kawi has always had a great engine with their v-twin. I think it's the best engine next to the Rotax.
