Maverick top speed 67MPH?

Just flipped through December issue of Dirtwheels and saw that they tested a Maverick. They said they could only reach a top speed of 67MPH! If this true (which I highly doubt) I think I will be keeping my commander. Any thoughts?

Maybe it was the January issue then. I just flipped through it but I could have swore it was dirtwheels December issue. Maybe I'm wrong, I'll go back and check tomorrow.

Maybe it's geared higher for more torque? I don't think ~5 mph is that big of a difference. Both are still fast.

I seen this on the Maverick forum also and i think they said it was on sand. I have never been to the dunes but another member said that his commander does 62 tops in the dunes... If thats the case im sure the sand takes alot of top end speed from any ride.

That's exactly what I heard the other day from the C.A. rep.
Doesn't the ECU reflash on the commander's fix this?
