FINALLY - a front diff fix that works!

Just picked up my year old Commander X from yet another shot at fixing the front diff. The front wheel drive has never worked right even after taking it to several shops and mechanics. The Guys at Southeastern UTV hooked me up. They figured it out, because now it is instantaneous on and runs like it never has. Call Andy 205-295-2314. This thing is a beast and runs circles around my old XP.

Wouldn't say what they did, I would hate to pay for a welded up diff, could do that myself.

All I can tell you is this. I have been driving the XP that belongs to my wife on muddy days in the trails because the front diff in my X was crap from the beginning. I even put the Quick Engage diff in several months back and it didn't help that much. I was considering trading the X in on an XP because at least the front wheels were locked in on the XP. But I liked the X in every other way.

We have been riding most of the day and I can't believe the difference. This machine is a true beast. The steering acts just like the XP does when the front is locked in, but I have power steering on the X so it is very forgiving. I climbed hills today I would have never tried with this X. Now she can't even stay with me, not even on the trails. The front wheels pull you through the corners without the drift I've experienced for the last year. The entire machine and its response in corners and on rocks is completely sane for once.

I am not very mechanical and do not know what they have done, but whatever they did has absolutely solved my problem. The only thing to remember is to stop completely before switching in and out of four wheel drive. Thats not a problem. Need to do that anyway IMO.

I am stoked about the machine again. Took long enough for someone to figure it out.
