If so, it would make it almost impossible to turn on pavement, and that would be even in 2WD.

I am not Andy, I think he owns the place. I actually dealt with a guy named Phillip, I think. I am a CPA out of Birmingham who rides anywhere from Stoney Lonesome in Cullman, AL to Windrock/Brimstone in the north.

Rode all day yesterday, no issues at all. It is a little harder to turn at full steering wheel turn, but wouldn't that be expected with it being truely locked in and no visco or electronics trying to compensate? It isn't hard to turn on pavement, I did that as well, although this machine isn't a street machine for me, it is a trail/hill/mud machine.

It works for me and I love to hit the switch and the front wheels pull me into oblivion. Machine drives much better, and I am not a good driver, but there wasn't anything I couldn't do with it. So believe it or not, I am happy. If anyone else had a fix before, I would have tried that, trust me. I was two weeks away from trading it. No selling it now. It is now the machine I thought I was buying in the first place.

Read through the entire thread, but forgive me if I missed what I am about to ask
You said, "when you hit the switch" unquote. Are you meaning the factory 2 wheel/4 wheel switch functioning as "the locker" switch?
I just want to be clear on that, because from my understanding, you only sent in the 3rd member.
Side note: I read 1 reference about "pulling a knob" to activate:
Reply #12 in this thread:
"I talked to him and it's a locker like a Kawasaki. You come to a complete stop pull the knoband go. If you do it while your rolling it will explode the front end."

Sounds like someone needs to call and get some firm details.
