2011 Can-Am Commander 800R Family

In 2011, BRP completes its side-by-side lineup with the Can-Am® Commander™ 800R and Commander 800R XT™. As with the Commander 1000 family, BRP’s Can-Am engineers and designers worked hard to create a side-by-side vehicle that sets a new industry benchmark in performance, handling, comfort and convenience.

Each model features the powerful 71-HP Rotax® 800 EFI V-Twin powerplant, which is only bested in power by the Rotax 1000 EFI V-Twin engine, meaning the Commander 800R is the most powerful* side-by-side under 1000 cc. Each of the Commander 800R models brings a host of innovative features to the industry, like: Dual-Level™ cargo bed; throttle-by-wire Intelligent Throttle Control system (iTC™), a 2-inch diameter, high-strength steel cage that is ROPS approved; Torsional Trailing arm Independent (TTI) rear suspension design, removable, free-standing full-bolster driver and passenger seats; a driver seat that requires no tools to adjust; quick-attach side nets and more. The Commander 800R line also features sleek styling with a strong Can-Am DNA presence.

Hellllooooooo......
Guess I'll be the first to post here
I'll be testing an 800RXT 10/16 at Speed World GP in N.W. Phoenix. Haven't heard much if anything about the 800. Just wondering if anyone has ordered an 800?
Thanks!

I though the 800's would not be available until Spring. That is great news as I also am ordering the 800.

I just ordered my 800XT about three weeks ago; should get it in February. Did any of you order the off road front bumper? I ordered mine with that bumper, but I didn't order the attachment that moves the winch out in front of the grill. I was wondering if the winch controls are hard to get to from behind the bumper?

If anyone is looking for a 800 XT yellow there was one ready for the taking in southern California at
Jet World Powersports
32203 Castaic Rd
Castaic, California 91384
(661) 294-0072
Castaic, California, Can-Am, Sea-Doo Boats, ATV, Motorcycle, Watercraft, Dealer, Used, Parts, Accessories, Apparel

I didn't get my Commander XT there, but I did get my first service done there on Thursday and talked with Dan Fitzgerald (General Manager) and liked the place.

Tell Dan I sent you,
Bryan
